What do the 2 bars on the sash mean?
They represent the second step, or sealing of an Ordeal membership in the Order of the Arrow and our Lodge as a Brotherhood member

What does the triangle mean?
This is the Vigil Triangle, it is a symbol of a Lodges appreciation for the work that member was done to promote, improve and develop the Lodge and it's program.

Isn't Brotherhood just for bigshots?
Nope, Brotherhood is for every member of the Lodge. If you look at the requirements you'll see they really aren't much harder than earning the rank of Scout.

Do I need to come to every Lodge event?
No, but we would like you to attend as many as you can as well as chapter meetings.

Do we have to do the Ordeal again?
No, the Ordeal is an induction ceremony, the 1st of 2 steps of the order

Do I need to seal my membership as a brotherhood member?
Yes, when you were elected in the order by your unit and you took the obligation of the Order to serve your unit and set the example as a Scout. Sealing your membership proves to your unit that you took this obligation with them in mind seriously.
