Fall Ordeal
Brothers,
As the Summer comes to a close, the Fall Ordeal is approaching quickly. To meet our Quality Lodge Requirement we still have a ways to go for Positive Membership Growth. Also, due to the Council Rendez-Vous, the event is earlier this year, taking place from September 17-19. There are many projects that the Lodge is working on, so come on out to D-bar-A to help us to complete them. Also, it is a tent event and be sure to register early, get your forms from www.migisi.org or the upcoming Eagle Pipe. See you there!

Communications Committee: The Heat is On!
There are only a handful of days left to submit your article for the next Eagle Pipe. The deadline is July 17! If you haven't submitted your article yet, what are you waiting for?
For chapters, this article is part of the Neynabor award; if you're an officer and you'd like to earn that prestigious award, then you need to work with your chief to ensure you have an article in every issue.
Don't delay, send it today!

Eagle Pipe Deadline Looms (REVISED DATE!)
The deadline for the August edition of the Eagle Pipe is July 17. Please submit your articles to Dane no later than that day. Anything after that will be considered an early submission for the Fall Eagle Pipe.
Don't Procrastinate! Submit your article now and make everyone's life easier. You don't want to be that guy that has to rush this because you've blown it off for the last month thinking there was plenty of time left. It probably didn't work that well on your English paper and it won't work well now.
July 17. Be on time! Better yet, be early.

Good of the Arrow: A
On Thursday June, 10 Wsigau Chapter held its Annual “Most Excellent” Chapter Picnic at Mt. Hope Church in Livonia. We had 42 members participating in the merriment, including our Lodge Adviser Mr. Retzbach. The Chapter installed two fire rings for Mt. Hope Church. We also held a Brotherhood Conversion later that evening. I would like to thank and congratulate the three Ordeal Members who converted to the Brotherhood Honor that night. I would also like to greatly thank Mr. Bill Federonko for the “Most Excellent” Picnic Food on the planet!! Everyone most definitely had their fill! Wsigau members had a blast. If you weren’t there you missed out on one heck of a picnic.

Trail to Eagle Brotherhood Opportunity
Brothers,
Coming up on June 30th are two important events. One being the Trail to Eagle Ice Cream Social and the other being a Brotherhood opportunity. If you have been an Ordeal Member for at least 10 months, get a Brotherhood Conversion form off of the Forms page of Migisi.org. Then you can make your way up to D-bar-A for this great opportunity. Candidates should arrive at Camp by 8PM. There will be a Candidate Meeting at 8:30 leading up to the Ceremony. After the Ceremony, there will be fireworks and the Ice Cream Social. If you have any questions contact the Brotherhood Chairman or the Brotherhood Advisor. Do you know of a better way to cap off your Brotherhood Conversion than an Ice Cream Social? See you there!

Mr. Roth, the Director of the National Camp School extended his deepest gratitude to the Migisi Opawgan Lodge for our cooperation and efforts to assist Cole Canoe Base and the National Camp School. Every Arrowman should be proud to be in such a fine lodge as ours.

Good of the Arrow: Famous Dave's Dinner for Camperships
It was a fun evening at the Novi Famous Dave's restaurant where three tables of Migisi Opawgan Lodge arrowmen gathered for feasting and supporting the Council campership fund. Thanks to Joe Kulwicki and Dave Ehrlich who ordered a trash can lid of food, consumed it without blinking, and shared camp stories with all. The Eggen family also attended and brought smiles to their table that included shiney new braces on one of them - hmmmm. The Eccleston's showed up to feast at the BBQ restaurant even though the VCA does not eat beef - but he likes fish. Rounding out the tables were consumers Mike Bien and Eric Behrmann who were a large part of the entertainment. OK, who ordered the ice cream birthday celebration to wrap up the evening. Wow! It was fun. Hope others went to Famous Dave's to help too. Great job! Great evening!
