Mishigami Lodge is now accepting payments for 2025 dues. Paying your dues helps support our chapter and lodge as well as our Council camps.

Winter Camp Registration

Registration for the most successful chapter event in Order of the Arrow History is now open. the event is December 27-31 at D-bar-A Scout Ranch. Cost is $53.53 for youth and $59.59 for adults. You may also attend part-time. If you need financial help, just contact Steve Donohue

Winter Camp Planning Begins

At our planning meeting on March 29, 2023, we started the ball rolling for this years fellowship event: Winter Camp XLVII. Our theme this year is Winter Camp: The Investigation. Campers will spend some time each day earning clues and solving mysteries. There will also be a cosplay event where you can dress as your favorite detective. After some discussion, we determined to keep the rates for this year the same as last year. Youth will pay $53.53 for their detective license while adults will pay $59.59.

New Brotherhood Members

On Saturday, December 4 our chapter had an In-Town Brotherhood ceremony where 11 members sealed their membership in our Order. Congratulations to Annabelle B, Erin B, Gavin B, Jayce E, Amaya G, Logan L, Gwendolynne P, Joshua P, Valerie P, Rico R, and Evan T.

Cheerful Service Done Right!

Members of Migisi Opawgan Chapter held a project at First United Methodist Church on Monday, June 15. The kitchen at the church hadn't been used in about a year due to Covid restrictions and the chapter provided some deep-cleaning to get things going. There were about 25 Scouts on hand and they provided a total of 38 hours of service.

Eagle Project Help Needed.

Gavin Bottorff will be installing 5 benches at Champaign Park in Allen Park (corner of Pelham and Champaign) on April 24 and 25, and he could use some help with the labor; he's already raised the funds.
Work will start at 10:00 am both days. Refreshments will be provided.

MigEEster at the March Chapter Meeting

The meeting will feature a celebration of MigEEster and all that entails from a MigEEster egg hunt and other exciting activities.
The meeting will be held outdoors, so please dress accordingly.

Short Term Camp Administration Training

Adult leaders are invited to attend a new training offered by National Camp School. Short Term Camp Administrator Training is required for at least one adult attending any overnight camping trip for a group larger than a single unit.
This means your troop can go, but Chapter, Lodge, District, and Council events will all requires a Short Term Camp Administrator.
Training is offered in two virtual classes, each of which will be 4 90 minute sessions. Dates are March 22, 23, 29, and 30 or April 19, 20, 26, and 27.
We are asking that a few adults from the chapter attend so we we can host chapter camping events.
