December 2nd Chapter Meeting: How the Grinch Stole Shawummus

Our December 2 meeting is themed “How the Grinch Stole Shawummus”. Be there to help stop him in his tracks! In addition to the normal business meeting, we’ll have the final schedule for Winter Camp and some themed activities to help stop the Grinch.

First, the Christmas Tree contest where we compete to see who can wear the most medals, patches, and more on their uniform. They have to be in the right place, but the normal rules of decorum don’t apply (so you can wear 8 or 10 or 15 medals if you have them.) Whoever shows up with the most decorated uniform wins.

Second, the White Elephant Exchange. Bring a Scout-appropriate wrapped gift worth about $10. We’ll have a gift exchange as part of the meeting. Don’t worry, there will be extra gifts if you can’t afford or forget to bring one.

Third, there will be more activities, but we don’t want to ruin the surprise!

We’ll also have hummus and pita as well as chicken shawarma and more.

It should be a great night.
